Alchemy Beteiligungsberatung GmbH are consultants to the Alchemy Partners Private Equity group. In the course of a recent investment appraisal exercise, they asked Charteris to carry out a technical due diligence exercise on a German Content Management System (CMS) vendor.
Alchemy required a technical assessment of this company's product and a view on the marketplace to which it was being offered.
Charteris carried out a due diligence exercise in Cologne on the technical quality of the CMS itself, its functionality (both existing and planned), the product development process and key members of the development team. We also gave a view on the highly dynamic CMS marketplace, in both Europe and the US.
Charteris' opinion on the product and view of the marketplace enabled Alchemy to judge the investment potential of this company.
