Supplier selection and contract development for key bank suppliers.

Situation

Goldfish was undertaking the migration of its entire customer base to a new operating environment, business process, and strategic technology architecture.

Charteris Role

Charteris provided a consultant to coordinate the development of several key supplier relationships which were essential to achieving migration to the new architecture.

Solution

Over a 12 month period, Charteris assisted Goldfish in establishing the legal and operating frameworks for many of the banks key suppliers. This involved:

  • Management of the supplier evaluation and selection process.
  • Contract negotiation.
  • Definition and agreement of service levels and rebate structures.
  • Development of contract cost analyses for board sign-off.
  • Managing the transition from existing to new suppliers, and handing over to on going Goldfish supplier management and operations teams.
