Scenario
Initial health check, extended to include management of implementation of new package.
Situation
Charteris initially undertook a "Health-Check" on a project
to introduce a Practice Management System. This involved
investigations both with the chosen suppliers and within
the firm; the assignment was then extended to enable the
Charteris consultant to manage the implementation of the
new system.
Charteris Role
Charteris undertook an overall analysis of the client situation
and made clear recommendations on the way forward, both
with respect to the 'fit' of the new system to the business
and to ensure its successful introduction.
Solution
These recommendations were accepted, and Charteris was retained
to help manage the introduction of the new system. It
went live on time and passed its toughest test: there
were no dips in fee income over the period.
