Social Care Information Management Review
Situation
Wandsworth Borough Council is one of the leading authorities in the delivery of social services for its local community, having achieved 3 star status.
Wandsworth was striving to meet a range of targets for electronic service delivery in social care and improve management information in the Social Services Department. As part of this process the Department was introducing an electronic case management tool to achieve better co-ordination of information within the authority and with partner organisations.
Solution
Wandsworth had embarked upon the implementation of the case management application, and asked Charteris to provide a project manager to provide drive and direction to the project to enable an effective and timely solution. The Charteris consultant developed and managed a complete project infrastructure that is allowing Wandsworth to achieve their aim.
