Charteris plc a winner in the Indy 100 awards for UK's Fastest Growing Organisations
Business and information technology consultancy Charteris
plc has been listed among the UKs top 100 fastest growing
organisations by the Deloitte & Touche/Indy 100 Awards for
fast growing companies. The awards, now in their twelfth
year, are run jointly by leading professional services
firm Deloitte & Touche and the Independent on Sunday.
Charteris was listed
highest among any consultancy organisation or IT firm,
which makes it the fastest-growing organisation in these
two sectors in the UK.
Charteris was founded on
October 1, 1996. Last financial year the company virtually
doubled in size to deliver revenues of 13.3M. In its
latest interim results announcement Charteris reported
growth of 81% with strong profitability.
Charteris believes much of
its success is due to its policy of only recruiting
consultants who have had extensive practical hands-on
experience in addition to their skills as business and
technical consultants. This enables the company to provide
experience-based consulting, focused on real delivery for
clients businesses.
The winners of the 100
awards were identified through Deloitte & Touche research
carried out in conjunction with professor David Storey at
the University of Warwick Business School. The research
examined nearly 7,000 organisations with sales of between
5-100 million and ranked companies according to compound
annual growth rate.
